One crew, accountable for the whole job
Walton Mechanical Group is a family owned and operated business in the South West of Western Australia, working with mining, civil and construction operators across the state. Most operators have to line up a hire company for the plant, a labour firm for the crew and a separate workshop for the repairs. We do all three, run out of our own workshop yard set up for rebuilds and repairs off site.
It matters most when something stops. Instead of chasing three contractors and waiting while they work out whose job it is, you get one crew that knows your gear and gets it sorted. The same people who hired you the machine and put an operator on it are the ones who fix it, so the job stays with someone who actually knows it.
Built around uptime
Everything we do comes back to one thing, keeping plant in the production cycle. Our heavy diesel mechanics, fitted service trucks and fully equipped workshop exist so that a stopped machine is back working as fast as possible, wherever it is in the state.
Local, and in it for the long run
Walton Mechanical is locally owned and run, not a branch of a national hire chain. Clients deal with the same people every time, on work that runs from short jobs through to long-term contracts, and the fleet keeps growing to meet it. Being local also means we have a stake in the place. We work safely, look after the country we operate on, and back the South West community we are part of.

Who runs it
Meet the founder
Walton Mechanical Group is led by Trent Walton, a heavy diesel mechanic who started the business in 2021 around one idea: keep the gear running and the job moving. He still runs the tools and the trucks himself, so clients deal directly with the person whose name is on the door, not an account manager.
